Our machine on display at IPACK IMA 2025 MCH - High-speed packaging of jelly products
Theegarten-Pactec is set to showcase the high-performance packaging machine for jelly products at IPACK-IMA 2025 in Milan (May 27–30) at the Opessi S.r.l. booth (Hall 3, Booth A38 – C49). With its innovative modular design, the MCH enables the efficient processing of various other products, such as chocolate eggs and hard candies, in multiple wrapping styles—delivering exceptional flexibility and rapid format changeovers.

The wrapping machine MCH from Theegarten-Pactec handles especially delicate jelly products, with a speed of 1,000 to 1,200 products per minute.
Impact on the machine and the jelly
One of the biggest challenges in the packaging process is jelly product damage, which leads to machine disruptions and efficiency losses. When products suffer defects, machine performance drops, and incorrectly packaged items must be discarded as waste.
The main cause of damage is pressure during the packaging process, which deforms the jelly, causing crushing and surface tears. Even during feeding and separation, products may stick together, further complicating handling.
An increased number of damaged items can result in frequent machine malfunctions. Excessive sugar coating or loose sugar particles accelerate machine wear, while moisture combined with jelly creates a sticky, syrup-like residue that clogs and contaminates machine components. This leads to mechanical limitations and compromises packaging quality.

The continuous operation of the MCH packaging machine represents a major step forward in the handling of jelly products, offering significant advantages over traditional stop-and-go processes. This smooth and controlled movement minimizes stress on the product and ensures a highly efficient workflow.
