Rethinking operation: intuitive, efficient, and effortless for every experience level
The FPC6 is designed to enable stable and efficient operation regardless of operator skill level—a clear advantage in times of labor shortages. Enhanced visualizations and graphical replacement images on the touchscreen assist in targeted troubleshooting. The machine recognizes cause-and-effect relationships, even across process boundaries, and actively indicates potential sources of issues. This reduces downtime and minimizes unnecessary interventions.
Quick change of product sizes
Maximum user comfort and reproducibility during format changes. All relevant settings are recorded electronically and stored in the recipe management system. Electronic counting scales ensure repeatability during format changes, eliminating the need for manual trial-and-error adjustments.
Reduced footprint
The FPC6 combines high performance with a compact design, requiring less space than previous generations thanks to a shortened product feed. The compact layout is based on Theegarten-Pactec’s long-standing engineering expertise. The machine configuration is precisely adapted in advance to the products to be processed. Extensive tests with original products provide a reliable picture of the subsequent process behavior, ensuring maximum process reliability from the start. On this basis, product speeds of up to 100 m/min in singulation can be reliably achieved.
Sustainability meets high performance
An integrated preheating section enables reliable processing of sensitive materials such as paper or recyclable mono-material films—achieving maximum efficiency, high throughput, and consistently high quality. For secondary packaging, the flow packs are transferred directly to the high-performance BLM cartoner. From unpackaged product to finished carton, everything comes from a single source—including distribution systems, storage units, and feeding technology.
Flying Splice
The so-called “Flying Splice” replaces the critical steps that previously required precise threading and applying double-sided adhesive tape. A roll prepared with adhesive tape is simply placed onto the machine, with no further steps or special precautions needed. Proper placement, alignment, and threading then occur automatically. Roll changes can also be performed without reducing speed, even at packaging speeds of 150 m/min. “Flying Splice” thus enhances both process reliability and machine availability with minimal training requirements.
Flexibility in sealing
The cross-sealing unit can be changed without tools, guided and largely automatically via the HMI—using a pallet truck and without special transport devices. A forced guide ensures automatic centering during insertion. The machine detects the installed unit, connects all components, and loads the stored target values from the recipe management system. This makes format changes fast, safe, and reproducible.
