High performance and efficiency are the key features of our machines. However, our daily work is also focused on enabling ever more sustainable packaging of food. We have always been committed to processing thinner and thinner packaging materials on our machines. With our further developments, we also support the changeover to more sustainable packaging materials, such as recyclable mono-materials and paper-based packaging materials.
Our sustainability focus is not "only" limited to our products, but rather to the sustainable approach of the entire company. Against this background, we have identified our carbon footprint and are trying to reduce it further over the next few years. However, in order to act climate-neutrally already today, we compensate our current CO2 emissions by climate certificates.
Blue Competence - Engineering a better world
We are Alliance Member of the Sustainability Initiative Blue Competence. Blue Competence is an initiative of the VDMA for promoting and communication of sustainable solutions for the Mechanical Engineering Industry. By using the trademark “Blue Competence”, we commit ourselves to these twelve Sustainability Guidelines of the Mechanical Engineering Industry.
