High speed forming, cutting and wrapping machine preferably for chewing gum
or bubble-gum products in double-point end fold with folded comic strip and/or
sticker as inner wrapper



High speed forming, cutting and wrapping machine preferably for chewing gum and bubble-gum products (also for hard boiled candies and soft caramels, toffees and chewy sweets as an option) in double-point end fold with folded comic strip and/or sticker as inner wrapper. The standard version is equipped with pre-sizing unit,water-cooled guillotine knife with intermittent rope feed, with automatic splicer to change wrapping material reels without stopping the machine, with photo-electric print registration, as well as special discharge with heating and cooling sections for a perfect wrapping and sealing of the products. The wrapping material (outer wrapper and under strip) is fed from
one reel and cut at the machine by means of a rotating knife.The inner wrapper (comic strip resp. sticker) can be single or double-folded.

Combinations
- The U1-EFC can be combined with the THEEGARTEN-PACTEC stick pack
machine F1 to produce flat stick packs or stick packs »on edge«. A combination with horizontal flow-pack machines is also possible.Depending on the product
the U1-EFC can be synchronized either with a batch roller and rope sizing
machine (hard boiled candies and soft caramels respectively toffees) or with
an appropriate extruder and cooling tunnel (chewing gum and bubble- gum
products, chewy candy).
