High speed forming, cutting and wrapping machine
for hard boiled candies and soft caramels, toffees, chewy sweets,
chewing gum and bubble-gum products in double twist wrap, arranged
for a »Rocks« (face cut) type of sweets. The pieces
are cut vertically from the (normally round) mass rope and are
then turned by 90° to be pushed horizontally into the mould
wheel. Thus, the cut surface (different colors and designs)
becomes visible. The U1-TR is equipped with water-cooled guillotine
knife with intermittent rope feed, as well as automatic splicer
to change wrapping material reels without stopping the machine.
The wrapping material is fed continuously from a reel and is
automatically
engaged by means of a rope scanner. |
