High speed forming, cutting and wrapping machine
for hard boiled candies and soft caramels, toffees, chewy sweets,
chewing gum and bubble-gum products in double twist wrap, double-point
end fold and/or fold wrap. In its standard version the U1-I
is equipped with pre-sizing unit,water-cooled guillotine knife
with intermittent rope feed, as well as automatic splicer to
change wrapping
material reels without stopping the machine (for one wrapping
material). The wrapping material is fed continuously from a
reel and is automatically engaged by means of a rope scanner. |

Special version
- As a special version, the cutting, folding and sealing units of
the U1-I machine
are provided in a twin
execution for fold wrap (U1-D CW). Thus, two pieces
are cut simultaneously
by means of a double guillotine knife – water-cooled and with
intermittent rope feed - wrapped in a twin mould wheel and sealed
in the
twin-lane discharge
unit. By this method an output of up to 1600 pieces is
achieved with a machine
speed of up to 800 r.p.m. Product dimensions:

38 mm;Width = 12 – 25 mm; Height = 4 – 15 mm.

Combinations
- The U1-I can be combined with the THEEGARTEN-PACTEC stick pack
machine F1 to produce
flat stick packs or stick packs »on edge«. A combination

horizontal flow-pack
machines is also possible. Depending on the product the
U1-I can be synchronized
either with a batch roller and rope sizing machine
(hard boiled candies
and soft caramels respectively toffees) or an appropriate
extruder and cooling
tunnel (chewing gum and bubble-gum products, chewy
candy).
